Your bank already texts you each time a subscription renews. This app reads those alerts on your phone and works out which charges repeat — with no bank login and nothing sent to a server.
Bank alerts are parsed on the device. When the same merchant charges you on a recognisable schedule, the app shows you the evidence — QAR 39 charged around the 14th, three months running — and asks whether it is a subscription. Nothing is added to your list until you say so.
From there you get your true monthly commitment, the annual projection, what renews next and on which card, and a reminder before it happens.
Account-aggregation services barely cover this region, and handing over banking credentials to a third party is a poor trade for a spending summary. Transaction alerts are already a reliable signal and they arrive on a device you control. So the app reads them there, and keeps everything there.
No account. No server. No analytics. There is no backend to send your data to. Read the privacy policy — it is short, and it is specific about what the app does not protect as well as what it does.
No SMS permissions. Detects charges from bank notifications, pasted alerts, and manual entry.
Also reads bank SMS on Android, with your permission, so recurring charges are found without any manual step.
On iPhone, Apple does not let any app read your Messages inbox. The iOS version works through a Shortcut you install once, plus paste and manual entry.
This app is in testing and is not yet published. Detection quality is still being measured against real bank message formats, and the results of that work will decide whether it ships.
